For a long time people have debated over frame-rate, some say they can see the difference between 60 and 30 fps and others say that they can't. I'm honestly shocked whenever I hear the latter. I've even seen some people say that they cant tell the difference even when they view side by side comparisons.

Haven't really looked at a display that could deliver framerates above 144. I imagine it's even further diminishing returns from there, though.

If the monitor has a setting to change the refresh rate to 60 or 120, use that and see if it helps.
